One step forward, then do it again.

Good Morning peeps. Do you find you put off a lot of things you should not. Me, I am actually the king of ‘put-off‘, honestly I sometimes wonder how i get anything done.

You may recall that back in January, I said one of my goals for 2013 is to get some Abs. If you don’t remember i will understand, after all you spend your time actually doing things. Anyhow, the plan was to exercise until they show up. The Abs that is.

I am almost 62 years old and i don’t recall ever having Abs so it was an ambitious goal, probably unbelievable, but what the heck, I want Abs.

Jo, my wife convinced me to go on a protein diet, she calls it a life transformation experience, she said it will help me to lose my visceral fat, that’s the kind that hangs around your stomach,  while building muscle. Lo and behold the damn thing works. Lost a bunch of fat and i am energetic as a teenager. I know what you are thinking, but don’t go there.

I had my annual physical exam and the doctor told me to continue doing whatever i am doing, he says my health is great.

Ok back to my exercise. I had promise to start exercising at the same time i started my life transformation. Well that didnt happen. What to do, what to do. I remember something i read a long time ago, that is, if you want to accomplish something say it and keep repeating it until it’s achieved. Just do it.

So here is what im going to do, starting today and for the next 10 weeks ill blog about my daily physical activities, the ones i can write about. Hopefully telling you will help me to get over my ‘put-offs’.

Yes I still want those Abs.
